Wastewomxn is a collective of diasporic artists made up of queer unbinary aliens Adedamola Bajomo (London), Tobi Adebajo (Essex) and Kyoko Takenaka (Los Angeles).
Based in the UK and the US, they are constantly finding ways to bypass a colonial lens on their existences - creating multimedia work about and for their community; connecting through their mother tongues by incorporating storytelling in both Japanese and Yoruba into their work.
They are multidisciplinary artists that thrive in various mediums - from dance, performance art and music, to theatre, drag and acting. Wastewomxn are as fluid in sound as they are in gender and genre - ranging from Punk, and R&B to Hip-Hop and World music.
